You never know until you try. - I understand the hurt caused by anxiety, depression, couples' issues and trauma and my approach to therapy is client-centered. I work to find the most-effective treatment for each individual. I accomplish this by seeking feedback from my clients and applying it. Most often, I offer suggestions for actions to take between sessions, with the goal of changing behaviors in order to improve daily functioning. Clients also often experience catharsis in being able to talk about things in session that they otherwise would not have been able to say out loud. I offer an unconditional environment for that.
I am a diversely educated and experienced therapist. I believe in the potential and individuality of each client's experiences and needs. I focus mainly on engaging with men and supporting the therapeutic process from a man's perspective, but have had success working with women as well.
