I am accepting new telehealth clients for OCD-related disorders and Tourette's/tic disorders, as well as phobias, social anxiety, and other significant anxiety symptoms. If you have OCD and another concern (especially trauma/PTSD, depression, ADHD, or other anxieties), I am happy to help you navigate treatment of these concerns togther. If you get stuck in worries, repetitive thoughts, or actions, I may be able to help. Please feel free to reach out for a free session-length consultation via telehealth and we can talk about what treatment would look like and answer questions you may have about me and what to expect.
The primary treatment I use for OCD and related concerns is Exposure and Ritual Prevention (ERP), which is the most researched method of treating OCD and has seen the most success in treatment so far. I use some aspects of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as well. I use Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT) for Tourette’s/Tics.
I'm happy to talk with you over the phone for a few mintues, or we can schedule a free session-length consultation to talk in more detail about the treatment and what to expect. These are pretty casual and just used to decide if I would be a good fit for your needs, so you can ask whatever helps you decide that.
