Finding a therapist in Utah can be so difficult if you don't fall into the dominant religious culture. The last few years has been painful and traumatic for so many. It is no surprise that many of us feel isolated and paralyzed by social anxiety, while potentially facing a recent loss of community. If you are going through a faith transition, are LGBTQ, or want help in learning new coping skills, I'd love to work with you.
I meet my clients where they are at and help them embrace their authentic selves based on their personal goals and values. I empower my clients to set boundaries with family members that may disagree with with their lifestyle and choices. I provide a space that is non-judgmental and supportive in order to process anxiety, depression and trauma.
My therapy style is casual and calm while offering skills in emotional regulation, communication, boundary setting, mindfulness, and healing. My clients tell me that I am open minded, empathetic, and give good advice. I genuinely care about each of my clients and love to see the progress and growth that comes with the therapeutic process.
