I am a trauma specialist providing virtual appointments throughout Oregon, Florida and NY. You would probably seek out a cardiologist if you had a heart issue, right? I am not a generalist; I specialize in Trauma, Dissociation, Eating Disorders, Body Dysmorphia and anxiety. I work with these issues because they're what I'm most passionate about and I've dedicated my life's work to combatting the systemic issues that cause or exacerbate those issues.
I incorporate a social justice and weight neutral lens into my work. That means I support individuals' autonomy and choices in their own health decisions and do not support intentional weight loss or diet culture. I pull from IFS, EMDR, DBT, ACT and practice harm reduction. I am also trained in LGBTQIA+ and Neurodivergent affirming care.
I provide 30-minute consultations where you can learn about my treatment approach in a gentle and pressure-free environment. I offer telehealth appointments in NY, Florida and Oregon and in-persona appointments to folks in Western NY.
