Samantha’s approach is rooted in person centered therapy, which believes that the client is the “expert” on their life story. By processing past and current experiences, one can create healthier connections and relationships in their lives.
As a therapist, I use a holistic approach in therapy. I practice from an eclectic approach based on the person's experiences and needs. Most often using TF-CBT, person centered therapy, Adlerian, brief, solution focused, play therapy, and DBT.
I have experience working with higher rates of trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, disassociations, dual diagnosis, relationship issues, self-harm, women's issues, children, and adolescents. LGBT+ affirming counselor. I accept clients from 4 years of age and up.
