Sometimes the journey of life will present challenges that are hard to face alone. As a licensed professional counselor and art therapist, I can walk alongside you with a creative approach on your healing journey. We will collaborate to increase self-compassion, foster resilience, set boundaries and diminish self-defeating thinking to help you live the life you want. I recognize the importance of creating a safe, supportive and non-judgemental environment to manifest growth and change.
My experience includes working with children, at-risk youth, adults and elders. I have worked with people who suffer from mental health challenges such as anxiety disorders, mood disorder, psychotic disorders, neurobiological disorders, acute and complex trauma, addiction, LGBTQ difficulties, loss/grief and life transitions.
When someone experiences or witness trauma it can become hard to verbally communicate. Art is a universal language that can offer personal insight and encourage artistic expression for life long coping. I will work with you and meet you where you are at to help you revel your inner strength and to reclaim your life.
