Samantha was raised in New Hampshire, and recently moved to Colorado from South Carolina where she received her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lenoir-Rhyne University. She also received her BA degree in Psychology from Winthrop University in South Carolina. Samantha is also pursuing a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of Northern Colorado.
Samantha believes that empathy and genuineness is a crucial part of counseling, and uses a variety of different therapeutic modalities based on the needs of the individual. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adult individuals who may be experiencing troubles with anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, grief, and more.
Samantha enjoys reading a good book, spending time with family and doing puzzles in her free time. She also continues her education through taking different trainings that provide a framework in her own professional development.
