I believe that everyone deserves a safe space to process life's challenges. My goal is to help create that safe space so you can move past obstacles that are preventing you from reaching your full potential. I am most passionate about working with individuals struggling with body dissatisfaction and disordered eating. Using a Health at Every Size and anti-diet framework, I incorporate a variety of techniques, focusing on building a collaborative, empathic, and trusting therapeutic relationship, free of judgement.
I have a specialized certificate in the treatment of eating disorders, and love working with folks that are looking to heal their relationship with food and body. As a former athlete, I understand the effects of athletic pressure to be perfect, and enjoy working with current and former athletes that want to find peace with food, exercise, and their bodies.
I also have many years of experience working with individuals impacted by anxiety. I enjoy using humor to connect and have found this to be some of my most meaningful work.
