Vulnerability: while rewarding, can be daunting. It isn’t easy to let someone into your internal landscape and I value the possibility of learning yours. My name is Sam and I work with clients to become intimately comfortable with the buried and beautifully impactful aspects of themselves. Often, the relationship to yourself contributes to how your days unfold in the world around you. When was the last time you heard or nurtured the parts of yourself that long for you? In doing so, a gateway opens up to a sense of self-worth that will allow you to experience yourself and your environment with a new lens.
My goal is to provide a safe place to explore themes such as gender and racial identity, honoring neurodivergence and chronic conditions, depression and loneliness, anxiety and rumination, pattern recognition and change, and maintaining or reclaiming a sense of self in relational roles. I work with non-monogamous and monogamous relationships.
In therapy, our greatest resource is the innate knowledge that comes from within the person seeking treatment. If your voice has often felt silenced; in a safe, liberating environment it will begin to speak again. It is my honor to listen and foster a relationship that continuously encourages the ongoing process of self-discovery.

Groups
Nature-Based Therapy Group
Many of us find solace and meaning in nature. It is a passion of mine to be able to offer therapy in the healing settings found outside. Research shows that time in nature positively impacts mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, and more. With the Nature-Based Therapy Group, we spend time outdoors engaging our senses to connect more fully with ourselves, the Earth, and each other. Structured activities and processing discussion allow us to immerse into our surrounding landscapes and gain insights into our own internal landscape as well.
