Body Image & Eating Disorder Support Group
This is a 1-hour open group every Wednesday night starting at 6:15pm with a 10.00 drop-in. This open group ( meaning you can come whenever it feels good for you) will be a brave and safe place to exploring what has been hard over the week in relation to body image and ED coping mechanisms. Mindfulness & Somatic Based Process Group for Persons Experiencing Disordered Eating, Clinical Eating Disorders, Body Image struggles, & Body Dissatisfaction. Learning to listen to the body's wisdom for many is a process of learning how to reconnect to the body's intelligence and cues. Connecting to Body Wisdom Process Group aims to re-connect self with the body & reduce coping strategies through---Trauma informed Yoga, Mindfulness, Meditation, and Breathwork. Group Therapy, Skill building, Journaling, & Self-Exploration. Settling Into Winter
In this 3-week workshop series, we will explore your relationship to the winter months and its impact on our daily moods and well-being. You will walk away with better knowledge and understanding of your “winter blues” and a set of skills, strategies, and care plan to feel more supported and empowered in yourself through winter,and season of rest. We will learn through experiential practice, collaborative discussions, and self-reflection. Group will run Wednesday 11/29, 12/6, and 12/13 virtually over zoom. This group is facilitated by a Salt City Therapy therapist---Brie.
