Every person deserves a space and a relationship devoted to their own healing. People come to me to process complex and childhood trauma; to heal from PTSD and related experiences; heal their nervous systems and work through major transitions during pregnancy and postpartum; and to manage Adult ADHD and related experiences, including Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria, emotional regulation and other areas of executive functioning, anxiety, and depression. The people who benefit most from my support are interested and invested in their own healing, and work to put insights and tools gained in session into practice in their lives.
My approach integrates body-based therapies, CBT, DBT, mindfulness, creativity, and humor to support clients in understanding unhelpful patterns; healing and rewiring their nervous systems; finding fresh, simple ways to meet their needs and to communicate those needs to the people they love; setting boundaries; and creating agency and purpose in their lives.
So often, people come into therapy fearing that something is deeply and irredeemably wrong with them. In truth, therapy is not about fixing you, but about helping you hurt less and feel more ease, clarity, and enjoyment in your life.
