Pain and, often, trauma are a normal part of our humanity. Unless there is healing, the pain and/or trauma leave wounds that accompany us throughout our lives. It is my belief and experience these wounds can be healed. I’ve encountered personal healing and have had the privilege of facilitating the healing of others. As wounds heal, our true Self is able to expand, grow and awaken into its true nature, allowing us to live happier, freer and more peaceful.
Providing a space of safety, acceptance and compassion is my priority. I use IFS (Internal Family System) therapy along with traditional therapies and offer EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). My specialties are young adults, as well as adults experiencing depression, anxiety, painful life transitions and those who have a history of trauma.
Committing to the process of healing, by reaching out, takes courage and may feel risky. I certainly understand, as "I've been there, done that." My intention is to build a relationship of safety, acceptance and compassion beginning with your first phone call. It is my hope you will listen to your inner Self by reaching out to a professional.
