Hello! I am Salita Wynn a licensed professional counselor. I focus on finding solutions to many problems we face in life. My focus ranges from anxiety, and depression, to trauma and post-traumatic stress disorders. My therapeutic approach is the constructivist approach. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and I am trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I also use narrative, and solution-focused therapy, depending on what works best for my clients.
Most of my clients range in age from (5 - 80). Mostly, I treat teens and young adults navigating work/life balance and trying to understand where they "fit" in this world. The conditions are depression, anxiety, anger issues, and trauma-related issues.
I created a comfortable, non-judgmental environment. My clients are free to be themselves and speak freely about anything. Building trust and establishing a therapeutic relationship are most important to me.
