We all struggle; sometimes, it's too heavy to manage alone. We feel shame for our flaws and weaknesses. I know the feeling all too well. We are taught all of our lives that we must struggle on our own and that asking for help is the last and final resort. Ultimately, this leads to isolation and loneliness. However, I say no. There is no flaw in your character or judgment to reach out and say, "I need help." I primarily work on depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, religious trauma, first generation trauma, sexual difficulties, men's issues, sexual identity, and gender identity. My psychotherapeutic practice tends to be a little bit slower than what my other colleagues may offer. I practice affirmative and anti-oppressive psychotherapy. This means that my primary view of you as my client is that you are human with your own experiences, upbringing, communities, and identity.
