There is some disagreement about the definition of codependency - I find it helpful as a roadmap toward developing healthy relationships with self and others. My definition of codependency is a reliance on another's approval for one's own self worth, or being willing to compromise your wellbeing for the sake of another's wellbeing.
My approach is trauma-informed, client-centered, inclusive and culturally responsive. I am a bicultural Spanish speaker and have extensive experience working with Latino and immigrant populations. I can support you in freeing yourself from generational cycles while also celebrating your heritage.
