Hi and welcome! I’m glad you stopped by to learn a little bit more about my practice. The majority of client’s I work with are individuals who struggle with high levels of anxiety perfectionism and relationship challenges. I commonly hear things like I can’t stop thinking about this thing(s) it distracts me at work and keeps me up at night. Some experience a lot of fear and worry around socializing being in public and other things that cause high distress. Many describe coming to a place where anxiety controlled how they showed up in life including their relationship with themselves and others. Anxiety is common so you're not alone!
During my time working with client’s, we commonly talk about what’s going on in their day-to-day life, what challenges are coming up and, in some cases, how they learned to respond to such challenges. Together we then explore ways to work with the brain, nervous system and learn skills to manage anxiety so they can create the life they want.
Anxiety is very treatable! The hard thing is that without support it can be extremely difficult to navigate alone because anxiety can be so convincing and get us into losing battles with thoughts that trap us.
