I believe that finding the right therapist is imperative to the treatment process. I have a unique way of connecting with others and helping clients make changes in their lives that give them the opportunity to live life to their fullest potential. My mission at Sage Counseling is to promote your optimum well-being, help you achieve balance in your relationships and to be a 'change agent' by teaching you therapeutic skills and tools to improve your life. I take an integrative approach to your mental health by not only focusing on traditional talk therapy but integrating nutritional psychology and mindfulness/meditation as well
I have experience working with Individuals, many who suffer from depression and anxiety. I use DBT, Mindfulness and CBT techniques to guide clients in learning how to manage their emotions and interpersonal relationships. I use TFCBT for work with trauma. I support clients with learning about nutrition and mindfulness to help with depression and anxiety.
I also have an extensive background working with youth who are struggling with defiant behaviors, depression/anxiety and low self -esteem. I have an expertise in teaching Parenting skills for children of all ages. I have been trained in Positive Parenting Practices and The Incredible Years Parenting. I offer family sessions to support clients.
