Do you feel overwhelmed by what life has thrown your way? Getting out of our own heads and speaking out loud are the first steps to making progress toward being our most authentic selves. As a therapist, my role is to ask you introspective questions and provide alternative ideas to navigate your circumstances, but YOU will guide the discussion, sharing what is most important for me to know to help you meet your goals. Taking an affirming, DEI, and culturally humble approach to therapy, I honor how our unique perspectives, experiences, strengths, and identities have shaped us in many ways and provide a map for who we want to be.
I enjoy assisting clients ages 16+ from historically marginalized communities with a focus on those identifying as Black or LGBTQIA+. I have specialization & experience working with children and families, as well as individuals and couples going through complex life transitions such as school, death, divorce, chronic illnesses, & grief.
I'm here for anyone who is working towards building more compassion for themselves, establishing boundaries, and accepting themselves which can sometimes be a messy but beautiful process. I would love to work together to provide a space for you to explore parts of yourself that you did not know or forgot along the way.
