With sensitivity, compassion, and attention to your strengths, together we can identify your goals and help you meet these. Using emotion-focused work is particularly helpful because our feelings offer us a roadmap to our psyche. In other words, our emotions clue us in to what motivates, reinforces, or is aversive to us. Emotions drive our reactivity, thoughts, and mood.
If you embrace your emotions in a way that is restorative and healing rather than anxiety-proving or depleting, then you can live life meaningfully. Individual therapy fosters such growth. In treatment with couples and families, I help people move from battlefields and destructiveness to the development of intimate, safe, secure connections.
