I help trans, queer, and POC people explore the stories that compose our lived experiences of anxiety, depression, gender, immigration, and race. Together, we'll work towards unpacking generational trauma to fortify your mental wellness, communication, boundaries, and intentional living. More about me: I am a queer, transmasculine, first-generation Vietnamese immigrant that has a green thumb and understands food to be a primary love language.
My approach to therapy is informed by my personal and professional experiences navigating intergenerational growing pains, academia, transitioning, and relationships.
Much of my therapeutic perspective is led by the idea that problems exist within sociocultural contexts, with their own histories and goals for our lives. My goal in our work together is to cultivate intentional relationships with you and the problems that exist in your life. I primarily practice narrative talk therapy and EMDR.
