I believe that mental health issues arise when we are faced with overwhelming emotions in isolation. Without the necessary support, emotions get so big and daunting that we defend ourselves against them, leading to numbness, anxiety, and depression. My goal is to invite intense emotions into the room so that we can learn to regulate them together and they can be reincorporated into the psyche, leading to a fuller and healthier life.
I have immediate openings in our Dayton location. I assist individuals of all ages & couples in learning to address their inner life. In working with teens, and families I empower the teen while building growth within the parents as well in order to foster lasting change. I believe we all have the power to grow! There is always room to continue learning .
