As a Mental Health Counselor, I believe that life presents us challenges that we sometimes need help to overcome. My primary focus is working with people who want to feel more ok, whether it be moving through anxiety or depression, transitions, traumatic situations, or increasing healthy communication. The foundations of my approach to counseling are Existential Psychology and Jungian Analytical Psychology. I have extensive experience working in Native American and multicultural communities.
Anxiety, sadness, and a need for control can be overwhelming forces in our lives. Using creativity, we can work together to find new strategies to deal with these forces, and hopefully find a more comfortable way to move through the world.
I specialize in hearing the unheard, and helping clients find an effective voice so that others may hear them too. I believe much of the outwardly "negative" behaviors we see can be changed if we are able to work together to find effective communication.
