As a therapist I work with people seeking new beginnings, change, and healing. I am now offering a new eye movement therapy (ART) that addresses multiple issues including trauma, anxiety, eating issues and much more. Therapy goals are always tailored to the individual and their needs. I have had the privilege to teach as adjunct faculty for undergraduate and graduate level students and believe in life long learning. I encourage individuals and couples to start where they are and let therapy guide the next steps.
I specialize in treatment of individuals that experience disordered eating . This includes all eating disorders and concerns with binge and restrictive eating. I have additional training and work with medical providers in the community and treatment programs to assist clients. Another area of focus is medical and cancer treatment/survivorship support.
As a cancer survivor, I have unique perspective working with those struggling with cancer survivorship, grief, and medical and/or disability issues. I also offer an effective treatment offered in my office called Accelerated Resolution Therapy. Among the things ART can deal with are trauma, OCD, Eating Disorders, Generalized Anxiety and Depression, etc.
