I am a licensed professional counselor with over 25 years of experience. I am trained as a Marriage and Family Therapist and work with individuals, couples, and families. I help people overcome problems in life and to find solutions to challenges as they come. I look forward to meeting with you to see how I may be of service. I approach therapy from a systemic point of view. I collaborate with my clients to identify problem areas and to determine beneficial solutions to the problem. I have experience working with ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, and family or marital issues.
My communication style prefers a conversational, collaborative approach. I listen and ask clarifying questions. My approach to goal setting is when we arrive at mutually agreed-upon goals. A calm, respectful tone. I listen before I diagnose or recommend any course of action.
I have always been the person in the room that people trusted with their secrets. People often share their struggles after only being asked "How are you?" Because of this, I found that I needed training to be able to better support others. I love what I do, and my clients. I strive to put people at ease and allow them to grow in a safe environment.
