I am here to provide support for young people and their families through behavioral and/or emotional health concerns, transitions, difficult family dynamics, trauma, developmental milestones, school related challenges, social experiences, or something more general. I provide a trauma informed, psycho-education based, client/family centered, strength-based space that is more than typical talk therapy. Working as a bridge between children, teens, and their families our collaboration will focus on exploring behaviors, dynamics, and individual trauma responses in order to increase insight, communication skills, and familial strength.
I use an evidenced based social work lens, humor, play, and non-judgement to identify where issues arise, how to understand them, and what can be done about them. We will create goals, unpack past experiences and their current daily presence, develop coping strategies, build self-compassion, acceptance, self-esteem, and understanding of others.
I treat my clients with dignity and the understanding that they are the experts of their own experience. My work is tailored to individual experiences, goals, and needs. Reach out and we will figure out how I can best support you and your family.
