Welcome, folks. I'm a licensed clinical professional counselor, trained dance/movement therapist, and empowerment coach. I specialize in the treatment and training of trauma work. Over the past eleven years, I've worked with diverse populations in a number of different settings including residential rehabilitation, Cook County Jail, and community mental health. As a therapist who is grateful for the therapy I've received, I can confidently say I get it from both sides. Therapy is a vulnerable process. That's why I pride myself on providing a nonjudgmental, compassionate, and authentic space that is tailored to the individual.
My approach is relational, strengths-based, and trauma-informed. I pull from evidenced-based practices such as Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) while I also have strong foundations in body-based therapies and contemplative practices.
