I am a lively, caring, dynamic feminist psychotherapist located in Shelburne Falls, Mass. with over 40 years of experience with counseling and therapy. I have openings for individual clients, teenagers, people under personal stress or in a relationship crisis. couples. LGBTQ clients are also very welcome. I have particular experience with trauma, anger, depression, anxiety, shame, debt crises, abusive family patterns that need to be changed. My goal in our sessions is to nurture your capacity for decision-making, for healing, for life change, and to explore impasses until they shift into turning points...
I use psychotherapy, writing, dreams and the creative arts, depending upon what you need. I utilize IFS, Jungian and Transpersonal modalities, to tap into the Invisible World, that reservoir of meaning and healing within. Midlife crisis is a time that can lead to breakthroughs on many levels, if we can access new inner resources to find our way..
Our obstacles, often crises at midlife, can become portals to growth & meaning, rather than keeping us mired & stuck in habits that repeat themselves. Life throws traumas at us; it is up to us to rise to the occasion, find strength we did not know we had, & press forward.
