Often we either "got something we didn't want or we didn't get something we did want" (Edith Eger). According to Edith, all of therapy can be considered grief work. In large part, I believe that this is true, but it can be processed gently, and worked through. Keeping hope alive to see the choices we still have going forward is vital.
I work with adults 18 and older. Many years of experience helping people deal with grief and loss, serious medical issues, palliative and hospice care, life transitions. We need assistance at times in navigating genuine communication during stressful life events.
