I am taking new clients! Perhaps you feel overwhelmed by parenting or work issues. Maybe your teen is struggling and you don't know how to help. Or is it that you've tried to just muscle through and don't feel like you can take anything else? Therapy is a safe, empathetic, and collaborative space where you can explore your inner world and develop deeper self-understanding...and also slow down from the pace of your life in order to see the bigger picture and tune into how you are really feeling. I view therapy as a place where people both start to feel better, and get better at feeling. Emotions bring people together!
I bring both curiosity and empathy to the huge task of understanding people - their fears, traumas, feelings and interests. By deep listening and observation, I help clients get "unstuck" from rigid ways of seeing themselves and their lives. I also bring in my experiences as a teacher and trainer to help parents and couples build new relational skills.
Maybe you're overwhelmed, depressed or anxious. Maybe you just lost a loved one, or went through a huge life transition. Life can be devastatingly difficult, but I deeply know and believe that we need people around us who can help us make sense of our stories and imagine a different future.
