I believe in the benefits of counseling and assisting others in navigating challenges. I use various approaches; however, the most beneficial to me is the humanistic approach. It is quite fascinating to guide and observe individuals, couples, and families to change and overcome daily struggles. I assist in providing and educating through profound change and instill hope through compassion. I see everyone through their own personal growth, personalizing each treatment according to their needs. I believe in empowering individuals and hold space for them to feel safe.
I have been in the Mental Health/Substance Abuse field since 1998. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. As an EMDR trained therapist, I am passionate about helping find pathways to heal traumatic memories and embracing the wounded self.
I have worked closely with individuals who suffer from PTSD, depression, anxiety, and substance use disorders. I teach individuals to love themselves and find their purpose in life.
