Hi there! My name is Ronda Jacobs. I'm a telehealth Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) from Oceanside, California. I have experience with children and families involved in the Child Welfare system. My approach to therapy is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Positive Psychology and Mindfulness. My approach to providing therapy is to meet clients where they are. We will discuss the therapeutic approaches of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Positive Psychology, and Mindfulness to achieve the goal of feeling better.
I am comfortable working with adults who have unresolved childhood trauma. Childhood trauma can result in a myriad of psychological concerns such as depression, anger, and anxiety. Unresolved childhood trauma will affect the client's physical, emotional, and mental well-being.
I have a calm demeanor. I'm soft-spoken, flexible, and personable. I believe in cultivating a therapeutic relationship where the client feels comfortable with trusting me with their emotions in a non-judgmental environment.
