I, Ron Silikovitz, Ph.D., am a licensed clinical psychologist. I have offices in West Orange and Elizabeth, New Jersey. My specialty areas include: Forensic psychology (parent coordination, therapeutic visitation, custody/parenting time evaluation, relocation evaluation, risk assessment, personal injury, assessment and treatment of sexual offenders and victims, competency, termination of parental rights and adoption, and expert witness testimony), individual psychotherapy, couples therapy,family therapy.
I have been in practice for 37 years (since 1980). I am Founder and Past President of NJ chapter of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts.
I have held leadership positions in the New Jersey Psychological Association and the Essex-Union County Association of Psychologists (formerly known as Society for Psychologists in Private Practice.
I have staff privileges at Morristown Memorial Hospital and at Bonnie Brae, a residential program for disturbed adolescents.
I work clinically with individuals, couples, and families. My goal is to empower my clients to make good choices, achieve happiness and satisfaction, and maximize their potential.
