Rogue Psych Consultants provides on-site mental health services in long term care facilities throughout Oregon. Contracted clinicians conduct diagnostics, create treatment plans, consult on care plans, perform risk assessments, develop safety plans, attend psychotropic meetings, consult with prescribers, and provide ongoing psychotherapy for long-term patients. Founder, Dr. Evan Alvord spent 14 years working in Home Based Primary Care at the VA Hospital in Southern Oregon. Through this work he noted the limits of mental health services in long term care settings, despite significant need. In 2018, he started Rogue Psych Consultants to remove the barriers of care for this underserved population.
