I currently have limited availability for daytime hours, Monday through Thursday. I am accepting new clients, either in-office or virtual. I specialize in working with school-aged children, tweens and teens. I also have a great deal of experiencing working with emergency responder's and their families, including law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMTs, 911 dispatchers, and correctional officers.
"I think the next best thing to solving a problem is finding some humor in it." –Frank A. Clark I believe that humor can help provide perspective with problems, and begin to balance the seriousness of challenges people face.
Confidentiality and a safe space to talk, without judgement! I believe these are key components for therapy. Clients are often worried that seeking support will be viewed as a flaw or weakness. Of particular concern is the idea that this information will get back to supervisors, peers, or others in the community.
