Welcome. Life can become overwhelming sometimes ( understatement! ). My sessions are authentic, very interactive, empathetic, and solution focused. You will get more clarity on the issues you're facing, have more self-awareness, and insights(!), feel well supported, learn strategies to use unique to you, and grow a lot. I am experienced in successfully treating a variety of issues: Stress, Anxiety or Panic, Adapting to change, Depression, Bi-Polar, OCD, Trauma/PTSD, Fear, Spectrum Disorder, Addictions, Issues in Divorce/pre-div, Survivors of Abuse & Narcissistic Abuse, or clients who are/were psycho-emotionally violated by others.
My professional approach is more dynamic than just talk therapy alone. It is client-centered, empathetic, interactive, and 'to the point', with frequent feedback. I also use other evidenced based models (eg CBT). My 14yrs in Japan, enables me well to teach mindfulness skills, eg; handling 'mind-babble', so you can have clearer thoughts and find calm answers.
A good therapist is one of the best investments you can make to improve your life. I have high quality, easy to use Telehealth video software for convenient sessions. Most insurances will reimburse you, for all or part, of your out-of-pocket fees to me even if I am out-of-network; however, unfortunately any 'in-network' BCBS clients have a 4-6 mo waitlist.

High Conflict Divorce/ Custody Planning Support
Offered twice a year. This small group helps those going through the 'high conflict divorce': psychological and emotional support, new ideas for custody planning (to help reduce ongoing conflict and schedules that work best for children), psycho-education for those separating from controlling/abusive partners, sharing of resources, and learning how to find one's new ground and path.
