I want to help you achieve clarity and comfort. If you are experiencing anxiety, anger, sadness, confusion, or other emotions that interfere with your life and relationships, I will work with you to better deal with current stressors and your emotional and behavioral reactions to them. Often, this involves working to heal past traumas. I work relationally and incorporate learnings from psychodynamic, attachment, mindfulness and existential theories.
I have worked successfully with clients on a wide range of issues: anxiety, depression, and issues that arise from traumatic experiences in life: whether it be oppression and marginalization, psychological, sexual or physical abuse, or other trauma.
I work compassionately to evoke felt emotions during session and provide an opportunity for clients to understand and process their emotions fully in a safe environment, which can lead to clarity, relief and feelings of peace.
