I specialize in promoting selfcare for creative people. I work with creativity to enhance creativity. Using traditional talk therapy and creative modalities I help people find ways to better manage anxiety, depression and the stresses of everyday life. As a New York State Licensed Mental Health Practitioner, I work on building self-esteem and increasing resilience. I use a person-centered approach to create a warm, trusting relationship and therapeutic partnership through which clients can develop their inner strength and move towards a richer, more fulfilling life.
As a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist, I help people to become more connected to the creative self. For clients who wish to draw on their creativity, I may incorporate creative writing, song writing or musical improvisation into the sessions. No prior experience in music or the arts is required.
