I work with clients, couples and families to lower anxiety and improve communication within the family and extended family. Often it helps to work with childhood trauma, or neglect as these things can carry forward into current relationships. I do work with helping couples and families identifying and working towards resolving challenges to their communication and care for each other.
Work can include EMDR and Internal Family Systems. I help clients with emotional intimacy, clearing past issues that cloud current relationships. Mindfulness is vital and I work with clients on integrating nutrition, exercise, and loving kindness into their lives. Where appropriate work involves clients with a Border Collie named Graham.
Deeply familiar with cross-cultural challenges having lived and worked all over the world. Relevant past life experience includes work/life balance, coping w/loss, households with special needs, and raising high energy children.
