Being heard is a fundamental human need and holds tremendous power for growth and well-being. Helping people learn to recognize and use their strengths and available resources to build resilience and experience positive change is my overall goal for therapy. My priority is to meet you where you are and proceed in the direction that makes you most comfortable. Working together to map out a personalize plan focused on healing and positive change is essential to the therapeutic process. The challenges faced today by youth and adults alike can be overwhelming and all-consuming. I can help navigate through these difficulties.
I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults in an array of settings including CPS, RTC, education, and juvenile/adult court systems. I have handled extremely challenging cases due to involvement during the client's worst day. I apply my experience to provide tools for clients to utilize before their lives require crisis level interventions.
My life experience includes all the joys and sorrows of marriage, parenting, caregiving, grief, loss, chronic health conditions, etc., etc., etc. Life is hard. I get it. However, circumstances do not control outcomes. We can choose how to respond to things outside of our control. Sometimes we need help realizing how transformative choice can be.
