I work with children, families, individual adults, and teens, prioritizing connection over compliance. I have experience and special interest in healthcare provider burnout, family and parenting support, depression, anxiety, and neurodivergent affirming care. I believe we all have the capacity for hope and growth and all do well when we can. Family support often focuses on strengthening coping and communication skills, allowing us to work together from a place of safety. work to be culturally and LGBTQ+ affirming, anti-ableist and anti-racist.
My therapeutic approach is relational and client-centered. Therapy works best when we work together using lightness and compassion. I may incorporate play and bodily awareness to increase coping and decrease reactivity. I use emotion-focused, cognitive, experiential, play, and solution-focused techniques for an action-oriented way to address your concerns.
