I work with individuals, couples and families. My goal is to help couples work through major stumbling blocks that often occur in long term relationships, and to help them communicate with each other and parent in the best way possible for the well being of their children. I often find that people in long term relationships have different languages of love, and expectations built on them. Sometimes helping one member of the couple have empathy and understanding of the other's language can help resolve couples issues.
I work with people who are in the midst of or have already divorced, who feel inordinate stress and conflict. I work to identify feelings of loss, anger or conflict,and keep those feelings out of the divorce process in order to enhance family harmony and emotional/physical well being.
