I am a bilingual (Spanish) Clinical Social Worker experienced in counseling adults and adolescents who experience depression, anxiety, trauma and PTSD as well as problems arising from alcohol or drug use. I am trained in psychoanalytic psychotherapy, mindfulness meditation, EMDR and hypnosis to address anxiety and trauma.
My training in mindfulness meditation-- finding a calm inner refuge, provides a model to my clients to develop a similiar sense of calm within themselves in order to face the challenges of daily life more dispassionately.
