As an LMFT, I use a trauma-informed care approach to work with individuals, couples, and families in community and private practice settings. A few challenges that I have supported my clients with navigating include: anxiety, depression, parenting concerns, chronic stress, communication issues, emotional disconnect, healing from the damaging effects of familial and societal messaging, and negotiating more satisfying relationships.
I am passionate about empowering individuals whose needs are often overshadowed or misunderstood due to historical and ongoing sociocultural issues. In particular, I enjoy working with fathers and the diaspora community as they navigate the intersection of culture, identity, and relationships.
