Hello, I am a licensed associate counselor in the State of New Jersey. As your counselor, we work together in the helping relationship model to improve your quality of life by improving your relationship with yourself and the world around you. I believe a holistic approach to counseling provides a deeper understanding of the whole person. In session, I use several psychotherapeutic techniques based on various theoretical approaches, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, emotionally focused therapy, and skills based in mindfulness and play therapy.
I am committed to creating a safe space for each client to express their unique goals and needs in a positive and welcoming environment. In addition, I teach my clients the importance of their body, mind, and spirit as an interconnected whole through providing valuable skills to help manage symptoms and life stressors.
Most importantly, I believe that through self-awareness, self-compassion, and self-care one can find meaning in one’s own life.
