I specialize in the treatment of persons ages 8-65+. I have been trained in various techniques, working with individuals, families and groups. I have worked with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, chronic pain, and end of life issues. I specialize in mindfulness-based cognitive therapy with individuals and group instruction in mindfulness training. I have been a practitioner of meditation for over 20 years, an instructor for eleven years.
I offer assistance through both psychotherapy and mindfulness instruction as a stand-alone training. For persons engaged in therapy already it is an effective adjunct which enhances the effectiveness of ongoing work.
Mindfulness instruction is a more widely known technique at this time. If you have any questions as to whether this would be appropriate and of benefit for you I would be happy to answer your questions.
