Hello, my name is Robert Baerncopf and I have been a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for the last 6 years. My approach to therapy is rooted in compassion and curiosity, deeply honoring each person's unique journey. My practice focuses on supporting individuals in navigating uncomfortable emotions, resolving posttraumatic stress, and helping client's align themselves with a more fulfilling life.
The clients I work with are often those who are motivated for thoughtful exploration of themselves and their inner world. While I have extensive experience working with many presenting concerns, I focus most on attachment and relational wounds, posttraumatic stress, anxiety, depression, burnout, addiction, and transforming unsustainable living.
For me, goal-setting is a critical part of the therapeutic process. However, I strongly believe that goals should be driven by what the client wants to work on. In that sense, I approach goal-setting with a collaborative mindset and an interest in gently inviting clients to find their own insights throughout the therapeutic process.
