We should expect life to be challenging, but when we struggle to the point of suffering, it’s time to reset. I help adults and adolescents move from fear, suffering, and shame, back to a place of functioning and rediscovering meaning. Whether it is mood, functioning, relationships, or anxiety, we can discuss how to get life back in order. If you're concerned about drug or alcohol use, let's talk about your goals. Treatment is not one-size-fits-all.
While I work with adults and teens facing any number of challenges, I work with many folks with ADHD. I also have specialized training in Cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia and behavioral sleep disorders. Often, we can treat insomnia in 4-8 sessions, every other week. For ADHD, I also offer family training and education.
My approach to therapy is largely relational, and I aim to be affirming of all identities. Getting started is often the hardest part. If you have any hesitation, give me a call and we can see what is in your best interests. I hope you will find that there is no judgement here, and are comfortable enough to “test the waters” before committing to anything.
