Accepting New Clients- I specialize in EMDR Therapy/PTSD. Disturbing events from the past can negatively impact us in the present sometimes manifested by intrusive thoughts, flashbacks, nightmares, feelings of anger, and overall reduction in optimal functioning. EMDR helps to process these memories, decreasing and ultimately neutralizing the emotional charge. It eliminates constant unpleasant reminders and rids us of continued negative messages tied to the memories. It is not possible to change what happened, but EMDR helps change how you feel related to past experiences to move forward with peace. I can help you with this.
I have over 25 years of experience in Substance Abuse & Mental Health conducting individual & group sessions. I incorporate EMDR, DBT, CBT, MET, Reiki in my practice with people who have had a range of traumatic events. I am an EMDR Certified Therapist & Consultant-in-Training by EMDRIA (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing International Association).
It has been an honor and a blessing to facilitate this transformative therapy and see how it helps people move on with their lives healing from past traumas.
