The women I work with want to find healing from emotional, physical, and spiritual trauma. Clients that come to me want relief from anxiety, fear, intrusive thoughts, intense anger, overwhelming sadness, and feelings of hopelessness or worthlessness. Many of my clients' struggle with interpersonal relationship dynamics, as well as having experienced abandonment, rejection, painful relationships, and various forms of abuse. The women I work with are determined to find adaptive solutions to the areas they feel most stuck.
I utilize Attachment Theory, Polyvagal Theory, EMDR, CBT, MI, and Strengths Based Approach. I am determined to be authentic because I believe healing happens when safety is present, authenticity in the therapeutic relationship invites safety. I commit to each client to meet their individual needs versus seeing them as a diagnosis.
Choosing the right therapist is an important decision, often we work together for many life seasons. I strive to create an environment of encouragement, bringing therapeutic knowledge to the effort of each client. I accept Kancare Medicaid MCO's Sunflower, Aetna, and United. I do not accept commercial insurance plans at this time. I also accept private pay.
