I am a licensed mental health counselor and a credentialed substance abuse counselor. My approach involves exploring thoughts, feelings and behaviors that are presenting challenges in life. Within a safe, non-judgmental environment, I can help identify trouble spots and aid in working towards solutions. I have over 25 years experience working with a variety of populations spanning from young adulthood to geriatrics. I have held both clinical and supervisory positions in a number of inpatient and outpatient settings. My specialties include anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and women's issues.
A particular area of interest of mine has been creating individually tailored treatment for clients with alcohol and drug addiction issues who have not been able to stay sober through more traditional forms of treatment. Seeing people climb out of the hole of addiction once and for all has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my work.
My approach to counseling reflects my passion for helping people find a sense of peace and fulfillment in their lives.
